Research in Biodynamic Food and Farming
Open for submissions
The Collection will feature original research that applies recognized scientific methodologies to biodynamic farming and food systems, and that contributes to the empirical and conceptual development of the field within the broader context of agricultural and food sciences. We particularly welcome papers that address the following areas:
Long-term system comparisons of biodynamic, organic, and conventional farming
Effects of biodynamic management on soil quality, plant health, biodiversity, and agroecosystem functions
Nutritional and sensory quality of biodynamically produced food
Socio-economic and structural aspects of biodynamic farm enterprises and value chains
Methodological innovations for assessing food quality as well as complex farming systems
Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research involving biodynamic contexts
